  • 3 tablespoons honey (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Cut cold butter into small cubes and mix with dry ingredients until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gently fold in grated apple. Pour in chilled buttermilk gradually and mix until just combined.
  5. Turn dough onto a floured surface and roll to about 1-inch thickness. Cut out biscuits using a round cutter and place on the baking sheet.
