  • 500g chicken breast
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 200g mushrooms
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions until fluffy.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large wok over medium-high heat. Add sliced chicken and cook until golden brown, then set aside.
  3. In the same wok, stir-fry onion and garlic for 1 minute until fragrant. Add broccoli and mushrooms; stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender but crisp.
  4. Return chicken to the wok, add soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and optional chili flakes; mix well.
  5. Pour in cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce, stirring until slightly thickened.
  6. Serve over steamed rice.
