  • 1 cup (200 g) light brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 ½ cups (170 g) cake flour
  • 1 ½ cups (187.5 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 cups (364 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups (234 g) chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a stand mixer, cream the cold butter with both sugars until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together cake flour, all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
