  • 1/8 cup flour
  • 1 heaping tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1.5 cups half & half
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups parmesan cheese (divided)
  • 16 ounces fresh spinach leaves (or 1 box frozen spinach)
  • 5 strips crispy turkey bacon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In an oven-safe skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Lower the heat and stir in flour to form a roux.
  4. Gradually add the heavy cream and half & half, stirring until thickened.
  5. Mix in 1 cup of parmesan cheese until fully combined.
  6. Add spinach in batches, stirring until wilted.
  7. Top with remaining parmesan cheese and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Finish with crispy diced turkey bacon.
