  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (for sauce)
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes, optional
  • Chopped parsley or herbs, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken strips with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper; coat with grated Parmesan.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high; sear the chicken until cooked through.
  4. Add minced garlic to the skillet for flavor; remove chicken once done.
  5. Melt remaining butter in the skillet; stir in garlic before adding cream and broth.
  6. Whisk in cream cheese, then add mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan until smooth.
  7. Combine cooked linguine with the sauce; toss well.
  8. Serve topped with chicken and garnish with herbs.
