  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 6 oz Velveeta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine in salted boiling water until al dente (9-11 minutes). Reserve ½ cup pasta water and drain.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Sear seasoned chicken strips for about 6-8 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and keep warm.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute. Add heavy cream and milk; bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in Velveeta until melted, then add mozzarella and Parmesan until smooth. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
  5. Toss linguine in the sauce until well coated; serve topped with chicken strips.
