  • 2 lbs organic chicken breasts
  • 16 oz potato gnocchi
  • 5 cups organic chicken stock
  • 1 1/2 cups organic heavy cream
  • 1 lemon (sliced and juiced)
  • 2 cups chopped kale
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 fresh thyme sprigs
  • 2 Tbsps Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 Tbsps unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 4 Tbsps organic all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsps On Everything All-Purpose Blend
  • Sea salt + black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, add olive oil. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper; cook until golden brown (about 5 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, melt unsalted butter, add minced garlic and thyme; sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  3. Stir in flour to create a roux; cook for about 2 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. Gradually whisk in chicken stock while avoiding lumps. Add lemon juice, zest, and sea salt; bring to a simmer.
  5. Add gnocchi and cook according to package instructions (3–5 minutes).
  6. Return chicken to the pot along with chopped kale; stir in heavy cream and simmer until heated through (about 5 minutes).
