  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for searing, optional)
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme (optional)
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  2. Optional: Sear chicken in olive oil over medium-high heat for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  3. Place seasoned (and optionally seared) chicken in the slow cooker.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together chicken broth and cream of chicken soup; pour over the chicken.
  5. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  6. About 30 minutes before serving, mix cornstarch with water until smooth; stir into the crockpot to thicken gravy.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
