  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Mix in melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Gradually add flour until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl and let rise covered for 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, brush with melted butter, sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture, and roll tightly into a log. Cut into 12 equal pieces.
  5. Arrange in a greased baking dish and let rise again for another 30-45 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Brush with melted butter after baking.
