  • 8 oz (225g) penne or fusilli pasta
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons freshly cracked black pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and reserve some pasta water.
  2. Slice chicken into thin strips. In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and cook chicken until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from pan.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add honey, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir for about a minute.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet along with drained pasta. Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water as needed for a glossy sauce.
  5. Serve immediately garnished with fresh parsley.
