  • 3 cups green cabbage, thinly sliced

  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 small onion, finely sliced
  • 1 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Gather and prepare all ingredients: wash and slice the cabbage, mince the garlic and grate the ginger, and slice the onion.
  2. Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until hot.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet; cook for 5–7 minutes until browned.
  4. Stir in minced garlic, grated ginger, and onion; cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Add sliced cabbage; toss everything together until the cabbage wilts slightly but stays crunchy.
  6. Pour in soy sauce and hoisin sauce; mix well for about a minute until fully coated.
  7. Serve immediately on its own or over rice.
