  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp spicy brown mustard
  • 3 drops red food dye (or beet juice)
  • 12 medium cocktail olives (with pimentos)
  • 3 slices white bread (or 12 rice crackers)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) if using bread.
  2. Boil the eggs in water for about 20 minutes, then cool in cold water before peeling.
  3. Halve the eggs and extract the yolks, mixing them with mayonnaise, mustard, seasoning, and red dye until smooth.
  4. Cut bread into small circles or use rice crackers as a base.
  5. Assemble by filling egg whites with yolk mixture and placing an olive on top.
