  • 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp granulated sugar

  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 tbsp strawberry jam
  • 2 drops pink food coloring (optional)
  • 1/2 cup vanilla buttercream frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C) and grease a bundt pan.
  2. Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, eggs, and sugar until combined. Stir in melted butter and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Mix 3 tablespoons of batter with strawberry jam for the swirl.
  6. Layer the batters in the bundt pan: start with vanilla batter, then add strawberry batter and continue layering.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
