  • 3 slices thick-cut turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 large yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 ribs celery, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 skinless, boneless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 (10-ounce) can diced tomatoes and chilies
  • 3 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Creole seasoning
  • 1 pound pasta (farfalle or penne)
  • 1 (10-ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (10-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup water
  • 11/2 cups chicken broth

Instructions

  1. In a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat, cook the turkey bacon with onion, bell pepper, and celery until soft.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional three minutes.
  3. Add the cubed beef steak; cook for about 20–25 minutes until slightly caramelized.
  4. Mix in chicken thighs, chicken breast, diced tomatoes with chilies, Creole seasoning, and thyme; cook for another 15–20 minutes.
  5. Pour in water, chicken broth, cream soups; simmer for an additional 20 minutes.
  6. Stir in dry pasta until well combined. Bring to a boil briefly.
  7. Turn off heat and press noodles down into liquid; cover with a lid.
  8. Bake in preheated oven at 300°F for one hour without opening the lid.
  9. Let rest for ten minutes before serving; garnish with chopped green onions.
