  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 12 chocolate ice cream cones
  • 2 cups (300g) powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)
  • Green food coloring
  • Halloween-themed sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt unsalted butter and mix with granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder before gradually combining with the wet ingredients.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely on a wire rack.
  5. For the hats, dip the tops of chocolate ice cream cones in melted chocolate (optional), then coat with Halloween-themed sprinkles.
