  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup milk (for glaze)
  • 2 tsp vanilla (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, espresso powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, vanilla, sour cream, milk, and vegetable oil until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
  5. Fill each cavity of a donut pan about two-thirds full with batter.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before glazing with a mixture of powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla.
