  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin or line with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the egg and mix in the sugar, melted butter, sour cream, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Fold the wet ingredients into the dry mixture gently until just combined; it's okay if there are some lumps.
  5. Carefully fold in the diced strawberries and chocolate chips.
  6. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tins, filling each about three-quarters full.
  7. Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
