  • 1/4 cup BBQ rub (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 can beef broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat (325-375°F) for indirect cooking.

  3. Open the beef broth can, pour out 1/4 of it, and poke holes in the top.
  4. Slide the chicken onto the can until it stands upright.
  5. Insert a probe thermometer into the thickest part of the meat.
  6. Place on the cooler side of the grill and cover with the lid.
  7. Cook for 60-90 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  8. Carefully remove from the grill and let rest for 5-7 minutes before serving.
