  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 small cucumber, grated and excess moisture squeezed out
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, pepper, and parsley until just mixed.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  5. For the tzatziki sauce, mix Greek yogurt with grated cucumber (squeezed dry), minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper. Chill before serving.
