  • 1 lb large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 12 oz chicken sausage, sliced into thick coins
  • 1 lb petite potatoes, red or gold
  • 2 ears of corn, cut into 1.5-inch rounds
  • 8–10 metal or soaked wooden skewers
  • 1–2 tbsp Tony Chachere’s Bold Creole Seasoning
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp crab boil seasoning
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Parboil the potatoes in salted water for about 12 minutes. Add corn for the last 5 minutes. Drain and cool.
  2. Assemble skewers by threading shrimp, sausage slices, potato pieces, and corn rounds. Brush lightly with oil and sprinkle with seasoning.
  3. Prepare the garlic butter by melting unsalted butter in a saucepan and mixing in garlic and crab boil seasoning; simmer until fragrant.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill skewers for about 10-15 minutes, basting occasionally with garlic butter until cooked through.
