  • 3/4 cup Toasted Sesame Seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  4. Mix in honey, egg, and vanilla until combined.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture; stir until just combined.
  6. Fold in toasted sesame seeds gently.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized dough portions onto the prepared sheet with space between each.
  8. Roll cookie tops in additional sesame seeds before baking.
  9. Bake for about 12 minutes or until edges are golden; sprinkle with flaky sea salt after removing from the oven.
  10. Let cool on the sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
